There was this dude on the same longboat with Unnur, whose name is Hörður. Hörður's son is Ásbjörn whose daughter is Ingibjörg whose sons were Hermundur and Gunnlaugur Ormstunga. Remember that last chap he's got his own saga. No none of this has anything to do with this saga lol.
(Other than that it's a bit unnerving to read these family trees and realize that everyone's basically marrying their uncles and cousins.)
7.
Unnur: "Go marry some girl so you can inherit me, Ólafur who's yet one more child of Þorsteinn's, whoah my son made me a lot of grandchildren."
Ólafur: "Ok."
Unnur: "Now we have a nice party here, welcome everyone, the beer's free and after I die Ólafur will inherit me."
Unnur: "This is my cue to die of old age by the way."
Unnur: "I'll just go do it now shall I?"
Thennnn more family trees, Snorri the Priest will eventually be Unnur's grand-grand-something-son or something. OMG these family trees are more like one big malformed bush.
Kollur, Höskuldur's dad dies and his mother Þorgerður sails to Norway and marries a Herjólfur, who's an ok man but ugly.
8.
Þorgerður and Herjólfur get a son, Hrútur, and then Herjólfur dies. Þorgerður's like, this was a shit journey anyway and returns to Iceland.
9.
Höskuldur marries a Jórunn and they're such a tsundere couple it gets an actual mention in the saga. Regardless they must be doing something right because they manage to make at least four children: sons Þorleikur and Bárður and daughters Hallgerður Whoahshegotsexylegs and Þuríður.
10.
No one likes Víga-Hrappur.
