Helgi the Spy goes to spy again and he's with this guy called Hávarður who's Gestur's friend. Helgi sees Gísli's hideout and decides to build a stone heap to mark the place from where they saw it, but after it's done he falls asleep and Hávarður takes the whole thing apart. Then he drops a huge boulder right next to Helgi's ear.
Helgi the Spy: "OMG it was Gísli, let's fucking run -!"
Eyjólfur: "So... where's that stone pile then?"
Hávarður: "IDK ask Helgi, he made it."
Eyjólfur: "Forfuksakes... ok let's go home but first let's go meet that Auður again."
32.
Eyjólfur: "So this is the deal, Auður. If you tell me where Gísli's hidden you'll get 300 silver coins from me and I'll let you marry whichever hunky young lad you want, and you won't even have to watch us kill your husband. It's a deal you can't refuse."
Auður: "So I would get to do whatever I wanted with this money?"
Eyjólfur: "With my promise, yeah, you could use it for whatever you like!"
So Auður puts the 300 silver coins in one huge purse and smacks Eyjólfur on the nose with it.
Eyjólfur: "KILL THAT BITCH!"
Hávarður: "This frail and lovely lady who can for some inexplicable reason swing around 300 pieces of silver like it was a feather pillow? That would be unmanly. I say no."

Gísli sees nightmares where the hagbag soaks him in vats of blood. Quite unimaginative, this hagbag.

It's almost autumn and one evening the ground's all frosty. Gísli, Auður and Guðríður go to Gísli's hiding place, but Eyjólfur sees their footsteps in the frost and finds them. Auður and Guðríður are like, k have at us, we've got these huge clubs now.
Eyjólfur: "Hey Helgi the Spy, you'd become a legendary hero if you attacked them first."
Helgi the Spy: "AYE!" *charge*
Gísli: *chop*
Meanwhile we hear that Auður comes across Eyjólfur and whacks him in the arm so badly he can't use it afterwards. Sounds like that Auður really doesn't like Eyjólfur very much.
35.
Two men try to disarm the ladies and despite them having actual weapons against the clubs the girls are using they have their hands full. The rest all charge at Gísli, who kills one third of the group. Massive lack of moral in the attackers ensues.
